"What I want you to do is handle tomorrow's birthing quota for me. That's not too much to ask from a professional woman such as yourself."
That seemed easy enough to Samus. She'd be huge on top of her current load, but it wasn't a big issue. It wasn't like she was going anywhere until she got her bearings anyway.
"Even I want to take a day off sometime, but I'm just in such high demand that occasions don't come around particularly often. Fortunately I have a good friend like you to assume my duties for one simple day." Gandrayda said.
"Alright." Samus groggily said. "How do you want to do this?"
"First, we clear my schedule. Sammy's computer, if Sammy decides she wants to delay a pregnancy, what arrangements need to be made?"
Miss Aran must make arrangements a minimum of one week in advance, to ensure no health-related issues are caused. A pregnancy may be delayed for a maximum of twenty-seven hours, and further delays may not be caused for a minimum of eighteen days afterwards.
"You're such a hard worker, Sammy. I suppose that's how you get all that output" Gandrayda said, apparently impressed by the restrictions on halting a pregnancy. From her tone it sounded like less of a personal restriction put on herself and more of a biological limit.
"Luckily, I don't have restrictions like that. Computer, I'm going to give birth now. Delay my next pregnancy by thirty-six hours." Gandrayda casually said, picking up the still sleepy Samus and depositing her in a chair next to the birthing table. Gandrayda laid down on the table, and Samus assumed that she went through the regular birthing procedures. She couldn't confirm it, as she found herself quickly nodding off. Unscheduled births seemed to leave her exhausted.
"Wakey wakey, Sammy. I took the liberty of handling things while you were asleep."
Samus sleepily came to, finding herself laying on her back. She guessed Gandrayda moved her while she was sleeping. She opened her eyes, and gasped as she could see nothing but belly in front of her, stacked high above her. She couldn't quite tell from her position, but her belly seemed to be at least two metres tall, an absurd size that left her unable to move. She might have been able to stand up for a few seconds, but Samus had no doubt with the weight she was feeling that she'd quickly find herself on the floor and unable to do more than slowly drag herself around.
Due to your pregnancy, you are currently immobile, Miss Aran. Please use the assisted movement platform you are currently on for navigation around the ship, and avoid leaving the ship if possible.
Samus resisted the urge to tell her computer that she had gathered that, although she didn't know that she was on the floating board from before. That would allow her to move between rooms, at the very least. She looked to her side to see a perfectly slim Gandrayda rubbing the slope of Samus' belly, straying dangerously close to an area she herself couldn't reach.
"Oh, did I forget to mention? Three spotted Avarians. You didn't think I asked you to take this on just because I like being skinny for a bit, did you? Think of it as a break from walking. I've arranged for it to be sent to my ship tomorrow, so you just sit back and enjoy yourself.." Gandrayda said as she prepared to leave.
Unable to move, Samus...
